Dear readers,
I bring great news this past month of my selection to sit on the Next Generation Visions for Space Operations Plenary at the IAC 2010 this September in Prague, Czech Republic.
The plenary is based on the young professional and student perspectives of the space operations sector of the space industry both from personal experiences and understanding how to develop the sector in the future. This plenary will cover a wide range of the industry since space ops is related to all space and ground hardware, from satellite communications and launch vehicles to scientific exploration and human spaceflight.
Below are the 2 moderators and 5 participants (click the image for more information from the International Astronautical Federation!):
Thanks for all your support and feedback about my YouTube video entry as well.
I look forward to sharing my experiences in Prague with you (hopefully even meeting @ IAC2010!). Thank you to the International Astronautical Federation & Astrium Space Transportation GmbH for supporting my participation.
More information on the IAC can be found here: www.iac2010.cz

Hey Tahir,
While your at IAC you might want to attend the talk by Mike Griffin on “How Do We Fix Systems Engineering?” He presented this talk last week at an AIAA conference that I attended, and he gives some really interesting food for thought about aerospace engineering and systems engineering more generally.
Pass me a copy of the proceedings from that talk, if possible, as I don’t know if it will be publicly released. (He was only a plenary speaker at the AIAA conference, so the accompanying paper is the IAC one) You know where to find me.
Andrew
Will swing by to listen to his speech and pass on the proceedings! Thanks for the support!
Cheers,
- Tahir
